U.S. faculty and professionals with teaching experience can apply for Fulbright teaching/research awards at overseas academic institutions. The Fulbright Commission in Argentina welcomes applications from scholars in a variety of disciplines for three months’ lecturing/research or for short-term collaborative projects with institutions of higher education. There are two types of Fulbright Scholar awards to Argentina:
Core Fulbright Scholar Program
University faculty members and experienced professionals with teaching or training experience are encouraged to apply for teaching/research assignments at institutions of higher education in Argentina.
Applicants must arrange affiliation and include letter of invitation.
Science and Technology; Social Sciences and Humanities; Environmental Sciences (joint award Argentina/Uruguay).
Fulbright Specialist Program
The Fulbright Specialist Program is designed to provide short-term academic opportunities for U.S. faculty and professionals abroad. The Fulbright Commission in Argentina and the Specialist Office in Washington DC work together to match selected university projects from Argentina with eligible qualified candidates.
Three to six weeks.
The Fulbright Commission in Argentina holds two annual competitions to select proposals from local universities that wish to host Fulbright Specialists for developing specific education needs.
